Isola Surf is the first surf school in Palermo founded in 2011 by Danilo La Mantia, ISA-CONI second level instructor and world-class tube-rider. It’s the only authorized surf school in the northern coast of Sicily with qualified instructors who are owners of thepatent of rescuereleased by FIN (Italian Swimming Federation) and the patent of Surf Coaching ISA (International Surfing Association).
The mission of Isola Surf is to help surfers of every level to reach peakperformances through innovative and successful training techniques, thanks to a ten-year experience gained into the waves all over the world. Another goal of Isola Surf school is to bring to Sicily the discipline of surfing, accomplished in many nations of every country, and the values of this Olympic sport. In addition to sport practice, we teach the behavior of waves, the action of the sea and the currents, to makeour students independent as quickly as possible.
